Older mobile homes are not much fun to work on, from poor factory materials to the workmanship. Inside your home, your desires for a working plumbing system is no different then anyone else. Most of your fixtures can be upgraded just as easily to a better quality. However if you have a problem under the unit, in the belly (under the floor, above the insulation blanket), plumbers typically charge too much to insulate properly; and don't want the liability of using heat tapes.
